IBD Eliminators

The IBD Eliminators are extremely honoured to be featured as the Corporate Team for the Gutsy Walk! Our team has included the dedicated employees of Alimentiv Clinical Trials, and we have been lucky to have supportive friends and family join us in the walk as well.

Back in 2017, a representative from Crohn’s & Colitis Canada came into Alimentiv Clinical Trials and gave us an amazing challenge – to participate as a team in the Gutsy Walk. 4 years later, we are still proudly continuing with this challenge with over 30 team members every year, and over $10,000 raised for each walk.

A huge part of what makes our team so inspired and excited to participate, is due to our organization’s main focus on IBD research and clinical trial services to help those living with the disease. A few of our own employees live with this every day, and we strive to create the most supportive working family. Our employees have become so passionate about the Gutsy Walk, including one of our star fundraisers, Michelle Lazure. She has always been proactive in preparing for this event and is always the top fundraiser on our team. Also joining us this year for the first time is Jess Green, one of Alimentiv’s employees who joined the company in August of 2019. Jess was first diagnosed with Crohn’s in Spring of 2015 and has also participated in clinical trials to assist in finding treatment options for herself and others living with Crohn’s.

I’m incredibly proud to be working somewhere that directly impacts people with CD and UC. It feels great to know that Alimentiv is so committed to the cause. Everyone is so supportive here and it’s exciting to think that the whole company is engaged to participate. I’m hoping we have a successful walk and beat all our fundraising goals!”
