London, Ontario, Canada, June 27, 2023, Alimentiv Inc. (“Alimentiv”) today announced the launch of Alimentiv Statistics, a core Alimentiv product line focused on being the recognized leader for statistical advisory and analysis services in clinical research through a Statistics Centre of Excellence (SCoE) and a robust statistical and analytical workforce.

In March 2021, Alimentiv Health Trust acquired McDougall Scientific Ltd., a Toronto-based niche Contract Research Organization providing data services for over 37 years, supporting drug and medical device clinical research in a broad spectrum of therapeutic areas. The acquisition strengthens Alimentiv’s statistical expertise in studies targeting market access and commercialization.

Alimentiv Statistics launched the SCoE to provide advisory services related to clinical development strategies, clinical study designs, regulatory authority engagements, and tactical statistical issues that arise in clinical studies. Retaining our broad spectrum of therapeutic area expertise in combination with Alimentiv’s GI-specific statistical strength, the SCoE collaborates with Alimentiv’s Medical Research and Development teams to support Alimentiv customers and sponsors. In addition, a robust team of statisticians and programmers provide flexible, customized, and innovative solutions for clinical trials as well as Real World Evidence and Precision Medicine.

” Combining the strengths of Alimentiv’s stats and programming group with the advisory consulting and analysis expertise of McDougall Scientific makes great sense with respect to our service model, which emphasizes leading with science, innovation, and quality delivery.  Alimentiv Statistics creates new potential for our customers to answer important clinical research questions and advance methods.” said Hershell Thompson, Chief Clinical Solutions Officer at Alimentiv.

“The Alimentiv-McDougall amalgamation has been such a successful marriage of expertise and culture that we are able to launch Alimentiv Statistics sooner than anticipated. New customers, as well as those who have come to rely on McDougall Scientific’s website for informative and educational content, should keep watch on our newly launched site, AlimentivStatistics.com, where we will continue to post on statistical innovations and relevant statistical content to aid your study planning and execution” said John Amrhein, Vice President, Statistics.
