Alimentiv is deeply committed to integrating Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) principles into every aspect of our operations. To ensure that we focus on the issues that matter most to our stakeholders and business, we conducted our first ESG materiality assessment in 2023 and are shaping our ESG strategy, priorities and activities. We continue to formalize ESG at Alimentiv with strategic policies, robust governance and dedicated oversight – ensuring we continue to deliver long-term value to our stakeholders.
Our Board of Directors and Executive Leadership Team oversee our ESG activities. In 2022, we established an ESG committee to own and champion ESG strategic initiatives, implementation, coordination, and communication on ESG-related progress. The committee is led by our VP of People and Culture and supported by a Project Manager.
The ESG committee comprises People and Culture, Finance, IT, Procurement, Legal and Clinical Trial Operations representatives.
We are proud to announce Alimentiv has achieved a Bronze Ecovadis Badge for 2024, recognizing our commitment to sustainability and ethical practices.
Additionally, we have pledged to the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi), underscoring our dedication to setting and achieving a science-based emissions reduction target to support the transition to a net-zero economy by 2050.
