Warren is an experienced financial advisor having worked for 35 years with Ernst & Young LLP, the last 25 years as a partner in the Southwestern Ontario office. Since retiring in June of 2022, he has worked as a consultant in a CFO role and consulted with various private enterprises. He has acted as an independent director for a number of private entities, assisting them with financial, strategic, and operational matters.
Warren has a Masters of Accounting designation as well as a Bachelor of Arts, math minor from the University of Waterloo as well as holding his CPA (Canada [CA and CMA] and US) and CFP designations.
Warren is passionate about continuous learning and development of strategic business approaches, centered around good governance practices. He was recently the chair of the Institute of Corporate Directors – SWO Chapter as well as a number of other charities.
